Trunk-or-treat!
No, that isn’t a Halloween typo—the Third Annual Trunk or Treat at Birchwood ABC Elementary School is almost here!
For those not familiar with this spook-tacular event, the “trunk” refers to all the vehicles decorated in Halloween fun. Bring your entire family—in costume or not—to trick-or-treat around the parking lot to cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs decorated for the occasion.
What’s more, there are carnival games in the classrooms at the school (only 25 cents per ticket). For readers, there will also be a book fair with many Halloween-themed children’s books.
There will also be a spook story time and family photos taken by Fitzgerald Photography.
Food and beverages will be available for sale. Other festivities include a cake-walk, costume contest, pumpkin decorating contest, bouncy house, and more.
From all of us at Kelley & Canterbury LLC, we encourage you to bring friends and family from across Anchorage, Alaska to the Trunk or Treat event.
We also encourage you to be part of “the Trunk” by decorating your vehicle and enjoying the smiles as you hand out goodies to all the dressed up ghouls and goblins who will come around to trick-or-treat. There is no entry fee, but do expect to hand out candy to approximately 700 children. Also, please register ahead of time to have your decoration theme approved.
The event takes place on Friday, Oct. 25 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., hosted by the Birchwood ABC Elementary School PTA.
We hope to see you there with your family and friends!
