As the NCAA Division I basketball tournament tips off this month, students and adults alike will be filling out brackets, picking their final four, and yelling at the TV when their teams are upset.
While the Big Dance is entertaining, why not catch some live basketball action by attending the ASAA March Madness High School Basketball Tournament, held in Anchorage March 15-22?
The boys’ and girls’ 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A division tournaments are all held at the University of Alaska Anchorage’s Sullivan Arena.

- Boys’ 2A: Hooper Bay
- Girls’ 3A: Barrow
- Boys’ 3A: Monroe Catholic
- Girls’ 4A: Wasilla
- Boys’ 4A: East Anchorage
