Biography
Christopher Canterbury has been practicing law for more than 30 years. He focuses on torts and is licensed to practice in Alaska. Prior to joining Kelley & Canterbury LLC in 2000, Chris clerked for U.S. District Court Judge James Singleton.
Chris received his Bachelor of Arts in English from Hamilton College in central New York and his Juris Doctor from Columbia University School of Law in New York City.
Chris is a member of the Alaska Bar Association and the Alaska Association of Trial Lawyers. He is also President of Fire Lake Arena Incorporated.
Chris is passionate not only about practicing law but also connecting with and improving the Alaska community. Chris is a current board member of the Chugiak-Eagle River Chamber of Commerce. Chris is a past board member for FOCUS, Inc., which serves children with special needs in the Chugiak / Eagle River community. He has also volunteered for both the Anchorage and Mat-Su Youth Court programs. In addition, he volunteered his time on the board for the Mustang Hockey Association, where he coached hockey and baseball for Knik Little League.
When not working, Chris enjoys playing hockey, working on the family’s log cabin home in Eagle River, and spending time with his wife, Michaela, and their kids. Contact Chris today.
