As winter trudges on in Anchorage, Alaska, many of us are itching to get back out to our gardens. Instead of simply waiting for the snow to melt, why not bring the green inside?
Join staff from The Green Connection on Jan. 25 to learn how to properly care for your houseplants, keeping them beautiful and healthy throughout the winter—and all year round.
The event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Alaska Botanical Garden in Anchorage. Don’t worry about the cold, as you will have the opportunity to learn in the warmth of the greenhouses!
For Alaska Botanical Garden members, the event is $20. If you’re not a member, don’t worry; the cost is only $5 more. You can pay ahead of time to reserve your place by visiting the Eventbrite page.
The Green Connection was started in 1977 in Anchorage, supplying horticultural products and services to residential and commercial clients around Anchorage. The company has continued that tradition today with services to beautify your home and business landscape.
Whether you’re an expert gardener or want to bring some green into your house for the first time, this is a great opportunity to learn the best practices for raising a houseplant.
From all of us at Kelley & Canterbury LLC, we hope you get out of the white and into the green this January by visiting the Alaska Botanical Garden for this great event! Be sure to tweet pictures of your indoor gardening experience to @KCAnchorageLaw so we can see what a great time you and your friends had in Anchorage!
